The list of teachers may undergo changes. Any variations will be communicated.
Teachers are appointed by the Artistic and Educational Director, appointed by the Board of Directors. The selection takes place through the presentation of an expression of interest, accompanied by an artistic and professional CV, submitted by the teachers in response to the public notice promoted by Siena Jazz for the establishment of a short list for the recruitment of professionals to whom teaching assignments for academic courses will be entrusted. Based on the short list, teachers are identified through comparison according to qualitative and quantitative principles, and availability of resources. The Director evaluates the candidacies based on artistic and educational experiences, and the declared reputation of the teacher, and after consulting the main instrument teachers, defines the assignments, taking direct responsibility for the correctness of the choice towards the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors then ratifies the annual appointments of the teaching staff and the Academic Council. Each teacher signs a professional contract for the hours assigned to them. The teaching staff is coordinated by the Director, assisted by the course coordinators (one representing the Bachelor’s courses, and one representing the Master’s courses), and represented by the Academic Council.
