Siena Jazz aimed to establish the “Free University of Jazz of Siena.” In June, it received the unanimous approval of CONSVU (National Committee for the Evaluation of the University System) from the MIUR (Ministry of Education, University and Research), accrediting it as an institution authorized to grant advanced academic degrees.
