Paolo Fresu and Omar Sosa: the "Food" project between music and culture

Food is a project conceived by trumpeter Paolo Fresu and pianist Omar Sosa that weaves music and cultural reflection around the theme of food. Through an original sonic journey, the project narrates food as an aesthetic experience, ethical choice and identity symbol. A musical narrative that invites us to rethink food in a conscious way, exploring its social, environmental and cultural implications. The initiative is also an opportunity to enhance the material and intangible heritage of our territory, with an open eye to internationalization, tourism promotion and the spread of Italian jazz culture in the world.
The proposal is part of the JazzAble project, financed with funds from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRP) and dedicated to the enhancement of jazz as a tool for urban regeneration, social cohesion and cultural promotion (CUP: C61I24000070006). JazzAble aims to organize and implement cultural events that promote excellence and foster the meeting of European talents in the music sector.
