Siena has officially launched Italy’s first “Free University of Jazz.” The recognition came with a ministerial decree from the Ministry of Education, University and Research,
authorizing the prestigious Siena institution—leader in jazz education—to award advanced academic degrees, on par with state conservatories and leading European and international universities with which it has long collaborated.
