International Student Exchange

Foreign students wishing to study at Siena Jazz and benefit from Erasmus+ funding must follow these procedures:

  • Students from Partner Conservatories and Institutions.
If the applicant is enrolled in a Conservatory or institution that already has an active Erasmus partnership with Siena Jazz, they can independently submit their application online by completing the application form (link), attaching:
    – A Curriculum Vitae in Europass format
    – At least three audio recordings in mp3 format demonstrating their performance skills
  • Students from Non-Partner Conservatories and Institutions.
Applicants from institutions without an active Erasmus agreement must first submit a request to their home institution’s Erasmus Office to establish a cooperation agreement with Siena Jazz. Once the request has been positively evaluated, the sending institution will guarantee the candidate’s quality and submit the application to Siena Jazz’s Erasmus Coordinator.

Students must complete the digital application form (link) and attach a Curriculum Vitae (Europass) and at least three audio recordings in mp3 format.

Guidelines for Audio Recordings

  • Students must submit a minimum of three mp3 recordings. Two recordings must be jazz pieces performed in a group of at least three musicians.
  • The third piece can be freely chosen and may be performed solo. Original compositions are also allowed.
  • The recordings should highlight not only the execution of themes and solos but also ensemble interplay.
