Students:
a litlle nice hotel has already been booked for the students. The hotel is “Albergo Cannon d’Oro”, located in Via Montanini, an elegant shopping street only 200 metres far from the famous Piazza del Campo. It is very close to the bus station and to the Fortezza Medicea (venue of the IASJ meeting). If arriving by car, bags can be dropped off at the Hotel entrance and parking is available nearby. The Hotel has 30 recently restored rooms, each with private bathroom, telephone and cable TV.

there are many possibilities. The Jolly Hotel Excelsior is very close to the meeting venue. The Hotel Villa Liberty, located just outside the historic centre of Siena, can be easily reached by car and it is 10 minutes' walk from Piazza del Campo. The Hotel Chiusarelli, close to the centre and to the meeting venue, has a nice restaurant. Meeting participants will benefit a 10% discount on the menu a la carte. The Hotel Executive, is located on a residential area of Siena, so called “Scacciapensieri”, very close to the university and not far from the train station. If you come by car this latter hotel is a nice and inexpensive solution: the hotels downtown are infact much more expensive…
